New Clé de Cartier
Cartier is pleased to announce the new Clé de Cartier in steel versions presented at SIHH. Schaap en Citroen expects to have this model in stores from November 2016.
Once in a while, Cartier invents a new shape of watch. In 2015, a new shape comes along, reduced to its essence, drawn from a perfect circle, with a pure design at the junction of modernism and timelessness : Clé de Cartier. Clé de Cartier brings a revolution, the crown becomes a key. It reinvents the conventional way to wind up a watch and set the time, with a nice and crisp sound.
Did you know?
Shape : Cartier has constantly challenged the traditional shapes of watches, imposing its very own style : Santos in 1904, Tonneau 1906, Tortue 1912, Tank 1917 or more recently Ballon Bleu in 2007.
Movement : 1847MC – 100% in house Cartier calibre developed and assembled in the Cartier manufacture. Automatic 42h power reserve easy and precise settings equips the Clé 35mm and 40mm.
In 2016, Clé de Cartier is offered to everyone, with the introduction of the steel segment in the collection, at a more affordable price point.
Clé de Cartier is available in steel in the 3 sizes, 31mm, 35mm and 40mm to reach the widest audience possible. All the Clé de Cartier codes are there: the guilloché dial with blue numerals, the blue hands, the original bracelet. Folllowing the tradition of Cartier watchmaking, the steel models of Clé de Cartier have a synthetic spinel set on the key.
